About Us

Steelmac is located in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, and employs 14 highly-skilled and knowledgeable full-time staff, plus up to 75 seasonal rebar placers.

The company was established in 1986 primarily to supply structural steel products to the construction industry in Atlantic Canada. Over the past three decades, the company has expanded into the supply and installation of reinforcing steel, rebar estimating and detailing, miscellaneous metals, pilings, and abrasion-resistant wear plate.

Steelmac has been certified by the Nova Scotia Construction Safety Association since 1996.

We provide a general and specialized steel and rebar services and product manufacturing to both the local community as well as projects the world over.
